Participants will develop a basic understanding of the six syllable types and how they unlock the code for students struggling with decoding text. Participants will learn an evidence based routine that can easily be used to teach each syllable type and support required state standards. Participants will be able to turn this training around to future teachers on their campus through a TOT model.
