Copying the masters is an age-old technique, harkening back to Van Gogh and Michealangelo. But it’s not just for painters! During the session you will put on your writer cap to “read like a writer” and use texts as models for writing. We discuss how to select mentor texts and explore resources for using this technique to teach writing, at the sentence level and beyond.
