The Adolescent Depression Awareness Program (ADAP) educates school based professionals about the illness of depression. Through a curriculum, a training program for school-based professionals, ADAP delivers the core message that depression and bipolar disorder are treatable/manageable mental health illness. This presentation aims to increase awareness and decrease stigma about mood disorders in young people and identify ways to work effectively within the classroom setting.
