Jennifer Cooper
Manor Independent School District Lead AIM teacher/PCE GT Coordinator
Pioneer Crossing
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Texas State University. This will be my 12th year teaching in Manor. I taught first grade for 5 years and was a reading interventionist for 2 years. I have worked with gifted children my entire career, led the Mindspill program for 5 years, and was the GT Coordinator for 5 years all at PCE. I had the pleasure of co creating the AIM program for MISD and this will be our 5th year of the program! Before Manor, I was an elementary substitute in Leander ISD. Prior to that I worked in Taylor ISD as a dance teacher for 3 years. I love working with every age.I am a woman with many passions and teaching is one that I have always had, and I truly love what I do. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and animals. My hobbies include watching movies, listening to music, reading, choreographing, dancing, drawing, painting, and spending time with my family.I will leave you with this. I believe that education is a critical part of success. I believe that all children can learn and succeed with the right tools and support. Parents are a child's first educator, and if we work together it will ensure their success. Here is to a wonderful year!
