I came from Industry to teach Engineering 20 years ago. After 10 years of teaching Engineering in Round Rock ISD, I moved to Manor New Tech High School when it opened in 2007. The PBL environment has been great as I have had the opportunity to work with educators who think the way I do about engaging students through real-world relevant projects. Although Engineering is different than ELA or Science, there are a lot of cross-walks that bridge Engineering with the core subjects. This workshop will help you to design and organize projects to teach Engineering concepts while reinforcing concepts taught in the Core subjects... Come and Play.
